Writing has always been central in my life from confessions in my diary as a teen to penning articles, with a journalistic eye, for my college newspaper and magazine. Now, I’m dreaming up blog posts and freelance writing for noteworthy publications like Angeleno Magazine, Los Angeles Magazine and Jezebel Magazine. As the girl who once described, “putting together cute outfits” as a hobby, I fused my love for fashion and writing into one stylish blog. My dreams lie in a career as a fashion journalist. Collaborating with FOAM Magazine x Planet Blue to be the next Trend Alert Blogger would only be the beginning of a much-awaited journey, as I would channel all my creativity (not to mention excitement!) into the project. To me fashion trends aren’t about the latest designer frocks but rather how one uses their unique aesthetic in seamlessly piecing together awe-worthy ensembles. My favorite aspect of fashion is versatility. I love being able to transform into different characters from boho princess in a maxi and fringe vest, to a business woman in a hip hugging pencil skirt, then into a long whimsical dress for a romantic rendezvous. I draw inspiration from other bloggers, editorials and as an L.A. native I can’t help but be inspired by my beautiful city. The people, food, culture, ocean, and the weather! There is inspiration everywhere.
