Easy access to the Rose Bowl Flea Market is one of the greatest parts of living in Los Angeles. This veritable treasure trove of goodies is filled to the brim with vintage and antique art, jewelry, clothes and furniture and is the perfect place to come when in need of a little design inspiration, or if you're just looking for something interesting to do.
I love to go on the early side to avoid crazy crowds, but also to make sure there is still a great selection as things tend to get snapped up quickly. You're guaranteed to find something that catches your eye, and likely to leave with something amazing. Last time I went I ended up with crystal decanters circa 1950 (a steal at less than $10), a vintage fur stole and some gorgeous one of a kind jewelry.
