Naple Longboarding Adventures from Summer '11. I remember when the days were long; it was 7pm.

I surfed in Bolsa Chica for a whole day before heading back to school. I took the bus and longboarded the rest of the way. After a long sesh, I ended up buying some fire wood and ate s'mores.

I spent most of the summer taking photos for an Italian Art Collaboration at the US Open. I begged my mom for a week and did my chores just to get there.

This is pretty gruesome! I went longboarding in Palos Verdes, after taking literally a 1 hour bus ride. I headed somewhere near Magala Cove, and literally almost fell off a bluff. Hopefully I could go back there to redeem myself!

I never leaves home without some cameras. (Hey, there's my trusty Olympus Trip!) I find every opportunity a time to take photographs. You learn through mistakes with your photos, which really affects you as a person.

Recently went to the Belmont Pier this weekend. I had my Holga 135 and it was pretty sunny out! I just needed to get out of the house to take some pictures before it started raining.

Surfing in lazy August afternoons, wasting money for rolls of film, and swimming in the Pacific. . .No, I didn't grow up in Dogtown or Surf City. I grew up in Long Beach, the city by the sea, which I call home. For 15 years, it's pretty much has been that way for me.

From all people, why would I need a bike? Having a new bike will start a new beginning for me. Throughout the years, I've been so interested in analog photography. I remember as a kid, my favourite camera was the Olympus Trip 35mm. I would take it literally everywhere and expose it to the roughest conditions. I would use it to take pictures of all the sardines I caught at Belmont Pier or bring it underwater while learning to surf as a grom with my father. Now that my skin is thicker and my wavy brunette hair caresses my spine, my initiative pursuit for the "Endless Summer" and the infinite roll of cellulose nitrate all have evolved through the process. Having a Cruiser Clipper of my own would be one of those vital factors that will lead me to perilous frontiers and new experiences that will impact my adolescence. I want to incorporate the adventures I have with it and intertwine it my individual style. Oh, the places I would go with that bike and my cameras. I would shoot dreamy surf photos at my home break and chase cloudy California sunsets with my trusty Holga. I would go around 4th St. Art Walks and head to the Aquarium of Pacific with my newly added Canon AE-1. In addition, I’ll also be able to carry my 5’9 surfboard around PCH and finally get some winter surfing done! Oh the possibilities…

As a California teenager, I have yet to wait for a driver’s license. Not being able to go to the places you want to go and see on your own, really hampers the most memorable milestones of your life. I am still young. I am still trying to get comfortable in my own skin. With a bike, it will encourage me to be fearless, adventurous, and aid me in the exploration of my native habitat. It will release good vibes from my creative soul and let me express myself without limitations.
