Morning Glory
It's a brisk day, but it's October 1st, which means you can officially roll on out to the beach and enjoy it's seasonal "quiet time."
I don't leave here year-round, but I work the summers doing Ocean Rescue while I'm still at college. I feel incredibly lucky to have such a great job during the busy months, and a place to come relax during the off-season.
It's mornings like these, when I get to bring my thermos of delicious home-brewed coffee and smell the mixture cinnamon and salt air. The small sliver of sun starting to rise on the horizon and gently brushes my eyelashes as it gets later in the day.
And then. In all it's glory wakes me up and sheds light onto the now empty beach, just me and the wind resting on the public axis steps...enjoying the quiet.
