"Just days to go and this is where I’m at: Two duffle bags filled with just clothes, a $200 trip to Target, and various other trips to places such as the nail salon, hair salon, waxing salon, etc. I'm feeling like I am officially ready for Coachella.

I have printed all the information I could possibly need. I've organized everything in a color-coded Excel spreadsheet and have made mixtapes for the drive out that are organized by the festival dates and which bands are playing (as well as a mish mosh of completely random tunes that are crucial to any road trip). Checked the weather report, confirmed with my time share (four times) that I do, in fact, have a reservation there, and have made an executive decision to ease up on the Jergen’s Natural Glow self tanner…my hands were turning orange.

Basically, I have three main goals in mind before I venture out to the desert: get great coverage for the event, don’t pass out, and have an amazing make out/slow dance sesh during the Black Keys. Note to self– pack your tickets.
