With the invention of street style blogging, an entirely new circus came to Fashion Weeks around the globe. And those girls posing outside the shows? Consider them the fire leaping lions.

While we took a mental note to remember Rodarte's ode to the Australian outback and Christopher Raeborn's parachute parkas come fall, we're determined to give four of our favorite street style looks a go in the meantime:

Socks with Sandals
Until recently, we were reminded of third grade yearbook portraits or our lazy uncles when we tried to pair socks with sandals. Then Chanel's Olympian ads came along and gave the whole idea a tailored, classic air. Check out our round-up of sandals perfect for pairing with frilly ankle socks or patterned knee-highs.

Studded Everything
FOAM posed a question to you guys a few weeks ago: Are you over studs yet? It seems like they've been puncturing denim vests and black platforms for a decade now, but maybe there's good reason. After all, they work for grunge girls as well as they do futuristic neon devotees.

Embellished Pants
We wholly regret spending high school in blue jeans. That's four whole years we could have spent experimenting with sequins, beading, patches and paint. Thanks a lot Abercrombie and Fitch.

Layered Statement Necklaces
Got a statement necklace? Good...button your shirt all the way up, then layer that jewelry under the collar. Wearing a crew neck? Using your necklace as a layering piece still works.
