Thomas Bexton's Old Faithful
There's nothing quite like owning a handmade surfboard, especially when it comes from Thomas Bexon’s makeshift factory, charmingly situated in his garden shed on the coast of Australia. So what do we love about his boards? Maybe it's their classic coolness (think black horizontal stripes juxtaposed with pale hues), or maybe it's just because they're made by a really awesome guy whose love for surfing is always apparent in his craft.
Of all of the boardmaker’s artful creations, we are particularly stoked on his Old Faithful log. A touch of inspiration from the vintage rides of the sixties, this 9’0-10’ single fin has those of us who surf dying to paddle out, and those who don’t ready to shell out just to hang one of these sticks on our wall.
