Greek yogurt dip ingredients

Greek yogurt is like the Superman of the dairy world. It's loaded with protein (18g per 6oz serving), calcium (20% of your daily needs) and probiotics (which help your digestive system immensely), while being low in carbohydrates and sodium. It's definitely on the grocery list each week. Thankfully, its super thick texture makes it a great base ingredient for a healthy dip, which leads to a healthy snack, which leads to us all eating, way, way better!

Somehow, snacks can either make or break your nutrition fill for the day, and that can of Pringles and queso dip can be downed in one sitting way too easily. But with any one of these dips (and suggested dippers) you'll have a quick and easy snack that does your body some good. Lots of good.

Creamy Avo Dip
Ingredients:
- 1 6 or 8oz container plain fat free Greek yogurt
- 1 ripe avocado
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- Pinch salt
- Pinch black pepper

Dice the avocado into chunks, combine with yogurt, lemon, salt and pepper. Done!
Suggested Dippers: cucumber slices, celery sticks, sliced tomato, or low-fat pita chips.

Choco Mousse Dip
Ingredients:
- 1 6 or 8oz container plain fat free Greek yogurt
- 1/2 packet fat free sugar free chocolate pudding
- 1 tbs natural peanut butter

Combine all ingredients in small bowl–it comes out thick and mousse-like. Delish.
Suggested Dippers: strawberries, sliced banana, apple slices...ok, pretty much any fruit.

Spicy Zesty Lime Dip
Ingredients:
- 1 6 or 8oz container plain fat free Greek yogurt
- 1-2 tbs taco seasoning mix
- Juice from 1 lime
- 1 or 1/2 jalapeño (depending on how spicy you want it)

Dice the jalapeño and combine all ingredients in small bowl, or food processor (I use the Magic Bullet).
Suggested Dippers: sliced bell peppers, carrots, celery, cucumber slices, sliced jicama or fat free tortilla chips (try to use the veggies though).
