The finished leg warmers

We love letting our socks peek out of the top of our boots but we can't stand tucking our jeans into socks that bunch up and make us sweat in the still-warm L.A. winters. Made by Lex has come to our rescue with a DIY that lets our piggies breathe while our legs look cozy– no one will ever know.

What You'll Need:
-A long-sleeved sweater
-Needle
-Thread
-Beads, ribbon, buttons, etc. (Optional)

How To Make Them:
1. Find some sweaters

2. Test out the arms, making sure they are wide enough for your legs to fit into

3. If you want to use a different part of the sweater, cut it as needed

4. Sew the sides of the arms together

5. Some sweaters may not unravel and you won't need to finish the bottoms. If you do, finish the edges by either sewing under or serging the ends

6. Embellish the socks!
