When Hollywood hosted L.A. Fashion Weekend this Friday through Sunday, things got hot– and we mean literally. The warm October air turned stifling inside the white tent behind Sunset's Gower Studios, prompting the Los Angeles' fashion crowd to fan themselves with programs, napkins and whatever else they could find. But despite the heat, the crowd stayed energized the entire weekend for shows exhibiting collections by some of the city's most noteworthy new designers.

Collections from Betsey Johnson, Lawren Michele, Karen Capili, Anthony Franco and more showcased some of our favorite spring trends– models sporting low ponytails and teased curls hit on sherbet pastels, graphic floral and fruit prints and short suits. The highlight of our weekend (besides an open bar, pulsing music and getting prime seating)? Spotting Glee's Matthew Morrison across the stage and pausing for a picture with comedian Jack Black.
